OUR STORY

Two Decades of Field Testing and American Craftsmanship

Thin Air Gear was born out of necessity. Our founder, a veteran himself, traveled through airports watching soldiers haul two heavy, 100-pound olive green duffels alongside their weapons and kit. He understood immediately that nobody had built what they actually needed. What followed was a vision for a bag that could carry everything a soldier carries: tough, wheeled, load-bearing, ergonomic, and built for 365 days a year.

Thin Air Gear's vision attracted the attention of Special Operations Forces, all military services and federal agencies who required gear that answers to the missions and stands strong. Two decades of field testing and American craftsmanship shaped what Thin Air Gear builds today. The long haul continues.
