Thin Air Gear was born out of necessity. Our founder, a veteran himself, traveled through airports watching soldiers haul two heavy, 100-pound olive green duffels alongside their weapons and kit. He understood immediately that nobody had built what they actually needed. What followed was a vision for a bag that could carry everything a soldier carries: tough, wheeled, load-bearing, ergonomic, and built for 365 days a year.
Thin Air Gear's vision attracted the attention of Special Operations Forces, all military services and federal agencies who required gear that answers to the missions and stands strong. Two decades of field testing and American craftsmanship shaped what Thin Air Gear builds today. The long haul continues.
We engineer to deployment standards trusted by Special Operations Forces and make them available to you, upholding American craftsmanship, supporting veterans who built our legacy, and empowering people to move with absolute confidence across every mission.
We see a future where confidence in your gear opens doors. Your gear empowers freedom instead of imposing limits by enabling movement that can unfold without compromise. All possible through gear made for the long haul.

Service Beyond the Sale
This company was founded by a veteran who saw a problem and solved it. We support the people who validated this gear long before the public knew our name.
