Thin Air Gear Limited Warranty

Thin Air Gear takes great pride in the quality of its products. We warrant to the original retail purchaser that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase. A "defect in material or workmanship" means a flaw in the materials used or in the manufacture of the product, as distinct from damage or failure arising from use.

Because no product is indestructible, this warranty does not cover issues attributable to or resulting from: the natural breakdown of materials that occurs inevitably with extended use; ordinary wear and tear; or defects caused by accident, abuse, alteration, natural hazards (including weather, animals, and ultraviolet [UV] exposure), misuse, or improper care. The serviceable life of a product runs from the date of purchase until the product is no longer serviceable due to normal wear and tear.

Government and Contract Sales

This warranty applies only to products purchased at retail directly from Thin Air Gear or an authorized Thin Air Gear retailer by the original consumer purchaser. It does not apply to products acquired through a government contract, government purchase agreement, GSA schedule, prime contractor, subcontractor, or any other procurement channel. Warranty coverage, repair, and replacement for any product purchased under a government or institutional contract are governed exclusively by the terms of that contract, and any claims must be directed through the contracting party or procurement channel through which the product was acquired. Thin Air Gear LLC has no obligation under this warranty to any party with whom it does not have direct privity of contract.

Making a Claim

Any product believed to be defective should be returned to Thin Air Gear for evaluation and will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Products must be cleaned before being sent; items received in an unsanitary condition may be returned to the sender unevaluated. Please review our Shipping & Returns policy for further details.

Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the five-year term of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. There are no warranties, express or implied, beyond the terms stated here.

In no event shall Thin Air Gear LLC be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of or resulting from the use of a Thin Air Gear product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
